Statement of Faith
At Literally Magazine, we believe faith should be alive, bold, and rooted in truth. Here’s what we stand on:
1. The Bible is God’s Word
Full of wisdom, guidance, and truth for every season of life. It’s not just history or advice—it’s God speaking to you.
2 Timothy 3:16 – “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.”
2 Peter 1:21 – “For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.”
2. God is Trinity
We believe in one God in three: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each part of God’s character shows up in our lives, guiding, loving, and empowering us.
Matthew 28:19 – “Go and make disciples… baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.”
John 14:16-17 – “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate… the Spirit of truth.”
3. Grace Saves Us
We’re not saved by what we do—we’re saved by what Jesus has already done. Grace isn’t earned; it’s a gift we accept through faith.
Ephesians 2:8-9 – “…it is by grace you have been saved, through faith… not by works, so that no one can boast.”
Titus 3:5 – “…he saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.”
4. Water Baptism is a Public "Yes"
Baptism is your personal announcement to the world: “Jesus, I’m yours.” It’s like posting the ultimate story about your love for Him.
Romans 6:4 – “…we too may live a new life.”
5. The Holy Spirit Empowers Us
Saying “yes” to Jesus invites the Spirit to fill you with power, peace, and guidance every day. You’re never navigating life alone.
Acts 2:38 – “…you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
Romans 8:9 – “If the Spirit of God lives in you… you belong to Christ.”
6. Healing is Divine
The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is alive in you, ready to bring strength, restoration, and hope.
Romans 8:11 – “…he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies.”
James 5:14-15 – “…the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up.”
7. Repentance Brings Life
Hell is real, but God’s forgiveness is greater. When we turn back to Him, we experience grace, mercy, and eternal love.
Matthew 25:46 – “…the righteous to eternal life.”
1 John 1:9 – “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us.”
Luke 13:3 – “…unless you repent, you too will all perish.”
