Wanna write for Literally?

Write For Literally:
Pitch Your Words, Join the Squad

Got a story, devotional, or idea that could fire up teen girls’ faith, confidence, and identity in Christ? You’re in the right place. We’re looking for writers who are bold, heart-led, and ready to drop truth bombs that stick.

This isn’t your average, cookie-cutter teen content. We want words that spark, uplift, and actually land in their hearts. Think practical. Think inspiring. Think unapologetically real.

Literally Magazine - Teen Faith Magazine

How to Pitch

Before you slide into our inbox (or form), here’s the deal:

  • Pitch only, please. Don’t send full drafts. We want original ideas that haven’t been published anywhere else.

  • Include these in your pitch:

    • A headline (what’s your piece called?)

    • Where you’ve been published (links if you have ‘em)

    • A paragraph summary (what’s the vibe?)

    • Your angle in 2–3 sentences (why now, why this?)

    • Social links (Website, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter—wherever your voice lives)

Pro Tips for a Killer Pitch

1. Know Literally
Read our About section. Get the feel. This magazine is faith-forward, bold, and unapologetically teen girl-centric. Make your pitch feel like it belongs here.

2. Don’t ghost us
Your idea might be fire, but we need a way to reach you. Include your email or we can’t follow up.

3. Keep it snappy
Show us the picture of your piece in a few punchy sentences. We love clarity and energy over long, meandering explanations.

4. Stick to the guidelines
We can’t promise we’ll review pitches that ignore the rules, so do yourself a favor and follow the checklist.

5. Patience, grasshopper
We get a lot of submissions (yay, you’re popular!). We try to respond within 2 weeks, but if you don’t hear back, don’t sweat it. Timing is everything.

Who We’re Looking For

We want writers who can:

  • Encourage teen girls to live boldly in faith

  • Write with warmth, clarity, and heart (not Chat GPT driven)

  • Share stories, devotionals, or practical life content that actually lands in real life, not just on the page

Experience? Nice, but not required. Heart, authenticity, and a fearless voice matter most.

Right Now

We aren’t actively accepting new writers, but don’t let that stop you. Submit your pitch anyway—we archive them for future opportunities and review everything carefully.

By pitching, you’re not just sending an idea; you’re joining the movement. You’re helping teen girls live boldly, rooted in Christ, and unafraid to shine.
