If you do not agree to these terms, please do not access or use Literally Magazine content.

We may update these Terms at any time by posting changes on our website or notifying you via email. All updates take effect immediately. Continued use of Literally Magazine content after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Email signups give access to free articles; print subscriptions provide mailed editions. You agree that the information you provide (including your email and shipping information) is accurate and current.

You are responsible for keeping your account information secure and for notifying us immediately of unauthorized access at hello@literallymagazine.com.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if we believe there has been a violation of these Terms.

Literally Magazine Terms of Purchase, Shipping & Replacement Policy

By purchasing a single issue or subscription to Literally Magazine, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms, including our publishing schedule, order cutoff dates, shipping timelines, address requirements, missing-magazine policy, replacement policy, and refund policy.

Publishing & Shipping Schedule

Literally Magazine is a bi-monthly print publication. New issues are published six times per year:

February • April • June • August • October • December

Literally Magazine is a scheduled print publication, not an on-demand product. 

Ordering a magazine does not mean it will ship immediately.

Each issue has an order cutoff on the 15th of the month immediately preceding the issue month. After orders close, our final quantities are submitted for printing, and magazines are printed, bound, addressed, sorted, and prepared for mailing.

Magazines are scheduled to ship during the first two weeks of the applicable issue month.

Annual Issue & Shipping Schedule

ISSUE: February

ORDER CUT OFF: January 15

SHIPPING WINDOW: First two weeks of February 

ISSUE: April

ORDER CUT OFF: March 15

SHIPPING WINDOW: First two weeks of April

ISSUE: June

ORDER CUT OFF: May 15

SHIPPING WINDOW: First two weeks of June

ISSUE: August

ORDER CUT OFF: July 15

SHIPPING WINDOW: First two weeks of August

ISSUE: October

ORDER CUT OFF: September 15

SHIPPING WINDOW: First two weeks of October

ORDER CUT OFF: November 15

SHIPPING WINDOW: First two weeks of December

For example, orders for the October issue close on September 15. Those magazines are then printed and prepared for mailing and are scheduled to ship during the first two weeks of October.

An order placed after an issue's cutoff date will begin with the next available issue.

For example, an order placed on September 16 would begin with the December issue because ordering for the October issue closed on September 15.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to this publishing and shipping schedule.

Single Issues & Full-Year Subscriptions

A single issue purchase ($15) includes one physical issue of Literally Magazine.

A full-year subscription ($90) includes six physical issues of Literally Magazine.

Regardless of when you purchase a subscription, your subscription will begin with the next available issue for which ordering remains open and will continue for six issues according to our bi-monthly publishing schedule.

Shipping & Delivery Timing

Magazines are scheduled to ship during the first two weeks of the applicable issue month.

Once magazines have been mailed, delivery time is dependent upon the postal carrier. Shipping and delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by printing schedules, postal carrier delays, holidays, weather events, returned mail, incorrect or incomplete addresses, or other circumstances outside of Literally Magazine's control.

Please keep in mind that the date you place your order and the date your magazine ships will often be different. Because Literally Magazine operates on a bi-monthly print schedule, magazines are not shipped immediately after purchase.

Missing Magazine & Replacement Policy

If your magazine does not arrive, you must contact us at hello@literallymagazine.com no later than the last calendar day of the applicable issue month to report it missing and request assistance.

For example:

October issue → must be reported by October 31
December issue → must be reported by December 31
February issue → must be reported by the last calendar day of February

If your missing-magazine claim is submitted by the applicable deadline:

• If replacement inventory is available and the shipping address provided with your order was complete and correct, we will send a replacement magazine at no additional charge.

• If replacement inventory is not available, we will refund the purchase price attributable to the missing issue.

• If the magazine was lost, returned, misdelivered, or undeliverable because the customer provided an incorrect or incomplete shipping address, a $5 replacement and reshipping fee will be required before a replacement is sent, subject to replacement inventory being available.

Because Literally Magazine is produced in limited print quantities, missing-magazine claims received after the last calendar day of the applicable issue month are not eligible for replacement or refund.

Customers are responsible for contacting Literally Magazine within this timeframe if an expected issue does not arrive.

Address Accuracy & Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address when placing an order.

Before completing checkout, customers are required to verify their shipping information using the address-confirmation checkbox provided during the checkout process.

Please carefully review your:

Name • Street Address • Apartment/Unit Number • City • State • ZIP Code

before submitting your order.

Literally Magazine fulfills orders using the shipping information provided by the customer at checkout.

If a magazine requires replacement because the customer entered an incorrect or incomplete address, the customer will be responsible for a $5 replacement and reshipping fee.

This fee helps cover the replacement magazine, packaging materials, handling, and postage required to mail the issue again.

Literally Magazine is not responsible for delivery failures resulting from customer-provided address errors.

Shipping Information & Customer Service Inquiries

Our publishing schedule, order cutoff dates, and estimated shipping windows are provided on our website, applicable issue-order pages, during the ordering process, and within these Terms.

Because Literally Magazine receives a high volume of customer-service inquiries regarding when magazines will ship or arrive, customers who contact us requesting shipping information that is already provided within our published shipping schedule may receive a standardized email response and/or be directed to this Terms page.

This allows our small team to respond efficiently while ensuring every customer receives the same accurate information regarding our publishing and shipping schedule.

Receiving a standardized response or being directed to this page does not mean your inquiry is unimportant. It simply allows us to consistently communicate the shipping schedule and policies that apply to all Literally Magazine orders.

If your magazine has not arrived by the applicable deadline, please contact us promptly so we can assist you according to the Missing Magazine & Replacement Policy above.

Limited Print Inventory

Literally Magazine is a physical print publication produced in limited quantities for each issue.

We cannot guarantee that past issues or additional replacement copies will remain available after an issue has been printed and distributed.

This is why customers are required to report missing magazines no later than the last calendar day of the applicable issue month.

If a timely missing-magazine claim is submitted and replacement inventory is unavailable, the purchase price attributable to that missing issue will be refunded.

Payment

Payment is due in full at the time of purchase.

By submitting an order, you authorize Literally Magazine and its payment processor to charge the payment method provided for the amount displayed at checkout.

Refunds & Final Sale Policy

Due to the nature of print publishing, advance production scheduling, limited print quantities, and fulfillment costs, all sales are final and non-refundable, except when a refund is specifically provided under the Missing Magazine & Replacement Policy above.

Once an order has been included in our production quantities, it cannot be canceled or refunded simply because the customer no longer wants the issue or subscription.

If an issue is reported missing within the required timeframe, replacement inventory is unavailable, and the customer otherwise qualifies under our Missing Magazine & Replacement Policy, Literally Magazine will refund the purchase price attributable to that individual missing issue.

Agreement to These Terms

By completing a purchase through Literally Magazine, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review the applicable issue schedule, order cutoff date, estimated shipping window, shipping address, replacement policy, refund policy, and these Terms before submitting your order.

You further acknowledge that:

• Literally Magazine is a bi-monthly publication released in February, April, June, August, October, and December.

• Magazines are scheduled to ship during the first two weeks of the applicable issue month, not immediately following purchase.

• Each issue's ordering period generally closes on the 15th of the preceding month.

• Orders placed after an issue cutoff begin with the next available issue.

• You are responsible for providing and confirming an accurate shipping address at checkout.

• Missing magazines must be reported no later than the last calendar day of the applicable issue month to qualify for a replacement or applicable refund.

• Customer-provided address errors are subject to a $5 replacement and reshipping fee when replacement inventory is available.

• Shipping-date inquiries may receive a standardized response or referral to these published Terms.

Completing your purchase constitutes your acceptance of these Terms of Purchase, Shipping & Replacement Policy.
